Chiftelute de Varza (Cabbage Pancakes)

Ingredients

• •1 small cabbage
• •1 egg
• •2 to 3 tablespoons flour
• •Salt
• •Pepper
• •1 teaspoon mixed chopped parsley and dill
• •3 tablespoons lard or oil

Directions

1. 1Julienne the cabbage, rub some salt into it and scald with water. Drain well and grind.
2. 2Then mix with egg, flour, parsley and dill, salt and pepper.
3. 3Make pancakes from the mixture.
4. 4Dredge with flour or bread crumbs and fry in hot lard.
