Following the elections, VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski was designated to form a government, marking a significant shift in the country's political landscape. The country, officially known as North Macedonia since adopting the Prespa Agreement in 2019, continues to hold regular multiparty elections monitored by international observers.
