The Embassy serves a consular district encompassing the Federal District of Mexico; the states of Guanajuato, Querétaro, Hidalgo, Veracruz, Michoacán, the State of Mexico (Estado de México), Tlaxcala, Morelos, Puebla, Guerrero, Oaxaca, Tabasco, and Chiapas; and the city of Tampico, Tamaulipas.
