Anthem History |
It was written and composed by a Bulgarian student in 1885, as he went off to fight in the Serbo-Bulgarian war. Before the fall of the communist government in 1991-92, a third verse was added to "Mila Rodino", referencing Moscow's allegiance to Bulgaria, but this was removed after the communists were removed from government. |
