Thailand food and meal customs
Rice is the staple food of Thailand. It is usually served with spicy dishes that consist of meat, vegetables, fish, eggs, and fruits. Curries and pepper sauces are popular. Typical meats include beef, chicken, and pork. Thai cuisine is a combination of cultural influences, renowned for its fine flavors.
Thai's use forks and spoons at the mealtime. They hold the the fork in the left hand and the spoon in the right. Chopsticks are frequently used with noodle dishes. Water, the standard mealtime drink, is drunk at the end of the meal. When one is finished, utensils are placed by each other on the plate.
